I was asked to design a new version of this show having done it previously for NBC. I suggested doing the show ' in the round ' to help create a party atmosphere for this karaoke extravaganza. My previous incarnation had been a safe prime time look but with this new version I decided to go whimsical and make this giant Juke box interior somewhere the viewers would want to spend 30 minutes.
